Very good
By Csr | on Saturday, December 11, 2021
Quick, handles well. Average if 27kwhr per 100 is the best we get. No massage passenger seat but in drivers seat that's weird. Sun roof doesn't open and too far back unless you're in the back. Boot is very small… - 5.0
Best Car I've Ever Owned
By Matthew | on Monday, October 27, 2025
I love the BMW iX. It's comfortable. It's spacious. It's easy and fun to drive. I've gotten more compliments on the iX than any car I've ever owned. The range is solid. The build quality is top-notch. I would like to know why the States and Feds want to tax us to death for these cars... and I wish I had known how quickly they would eat up tires (YIKES!).… - 5.0
Wonderful SUV!
By Jeff H | on Monday, March 03, 2025
I have previously owned a Tesla Model 3 Performance and a BMW X5. The IX is the best of both of them. It's a full-sized SUV with tons of interior room, a super-comfortable ride, and lots of amenities. But it's also an electric car, with plenty of zip to accelerate quickly, and an eco-smart mentality. Like the Tesla, you can use your phone to unlock and lock the IX, so you don't have to carry keys. And BMW says they'll complete an agreement with Tesla in late 2025 to use their supercharger network. (If you have a Tesla home charger, you can order an inexpensive Tesla-to-J1772 adapter and charge your BMW at home.) The only down-side that I can see is the price; it's a large, quality vehicle, and it's not cheap. But I've found that you can find one and two year old IX's at BMW dealerships at a big discount. In summary, among luxury SUV's, the BMW IX is an expensive but outstanding choice. The SUV's in this class (at the time I'm writing this) include: The Rivian R1S (which is really long, and wouldn't fit in my garage!), the Tesla Cybertruck (but I didn't want teenagers laughing at me), the Porsche Macan (which is outstanding but even more expensive), the Mercedes GLS, and the new Volvo and Polestar SUV's (which aren't out yet).…
